Senior Territory Manager

I started working in the sales team for Motors.co.uk in 2008. I have been field based since then working predominantly in the Midlands area and love it!
I have seen Motors.co.uk grow into a world class website that innovates by introducing new products for our clients in a very competitive market.
Selling Motors.co.uk services is a pleasure and anyone can feel proud to work here.
Motors.co.uk truly is a team. There isn’t anyone in the company from the top to the bottom that doesn’t work together or isn’t there for you when you need a hand.
Motors.co.uk and Manheim are constantly seeking feedback from their employees before they implement any changes and I find this very refreshing. They want to make sure each change is something that is going to be well received and something that will make our daily tasks a little bit easier. I feel fortunate to have found such a strong company to work for and with the added exposure on National TV, Motors.co.uk will truly be established in the UK as the most enjoyable and best experience for car buyers and sellers to come together.

I joined Motors.co.uk a number of years ago and since day one I’ve always believed it was a company with great prospects. Being part of a company which goes from strength to strength every year has been rewarding and an experience I’d never encountered before.
Motors is a company that listens to its employees, holding regular forums and staff meetings which allow team to participate in the moulding of the company culture. Staff ideas regularly feed through to the development of products, meaning we all participate and help grow the company.
The staff are great, the atmosphere is great, and everyone contributes to making the company an even better place to work.

Key Account Manager

Having worked for Motors.co.uk for over four years now I can honestly say that I love the business and the people I work with, I appreciate this is a typically corny comment but the atmosphere along with the people make a business and this is why I believe Motors.co.uk will continue to go from strength to strength. All the members of the company are completely on board with the targets and aims of the business and you can really feel the passion within the office from the MD to our interns, and I’m inspired everyday by each one of them. The fact that I say ‘members’ instead of employees is significant to the feeling I get working here, we are all members of a team, some may have more important titles but we have no closed doors within the office and if Andy (our MD) is around he will more than often offer you a ‘brew’ and have a chat. All of these small touches add to the culture of our business and it’s a culture I haven’t experienced with any other company.

I have also progressed well during my time at Motors.co.uk, if you work hard and show that you are willing to give 110% the company will invest in you as they have in me. This is probably why the majority of our team consider ourselves ‘lifers’ – why would you leave? We work for a business that has such an inspiring story to tell in terms of where we’ve come from and what we’d like to achieve, add in a terrific working environment and fantastic colleagues and I challenge anyone not to want to become a ‘lifer’ here at Motors.co.uk. As with any ‘job’ there are challenging days but ultimately these days are the ones that become some of the most rewarding. This is something that I never take for granted here at Motors.co.uk, especially being an account manager for some of our Key clients, you are never alone and there is always a room full of approachable people that will go that extra mile to ensure their colleagues aren’t struggling. Asking for help is encouraged and offering help in return has become a natural way of existing here.

The company is fast paced and evolves fast so there is never a boring day in the office, but it’s the points of pressure that really bring out the ‘family pride’ elements within the business and I’m proud to say I work here and would always encourage others to join.
